This isn’t therapy. There’s no couch, diagnoses, or cheesy self-help quotes—though I will ask about your feelings as we work together to help you break free from old patterns, build deeper connections, and step into more authentic versions of who you are. I’m there with you on a journey of growth, healing, and change, and I’m adamant about creating space for men who need support, but who aren’t sure if therapy is for them. I truly believe that men aren't broken; it's the systems, norms, and ways that we've been raised that are broken. Men have inherited a 15th-century operating system to navigate the 21st century. I believe that not all men need a couch and a therapist. They need a map. Book a free 30-minute call and let’s talk about how we can work together.

As a longtime travel writer and photographer, I spent most of my young adult life uncovering the through lines and stories of places around the world. I did so, however, at the cost of my own story. I traveled in search of the type of meaning, worth, and life that ultimately I could only find within myself. So several years ago I set out on a different kind of journey—an inward journey—across my family’s history, generations of trauma, and a chaotic childhood. It turned into a complete excavation of my life and eventually led me back to school to pursue a Master of Science in Positive Psychology. It, along with education and training in Vanessa Bennett’s depth psychology academy, inspired me to help others break free from old patterns, create new connections, and rewrite their own stories.

I’ve had a unique journey to healing, one that’s involved multiple different modalities of therapy, somatics, and other healing practices. Fittingly, my education and training has been diverse, drawing on my philosophy background, positive psychology education, depth psychology, yoga, meditation, and other practices. I bring parts of all of these things into coaching. What's central to my work is challenging some of the harmful patterns and systems that we've inherited, and walking alongside men to challenge these systems, break free from old patterns, and create new connections with themselves and others.
NOTE: Our work together is different from therapy. I don't diagnose, work with diagnoses, or prescribe medication. So if you're struggling with a serious mental illness or thoughts of self-harm, then this work isn’t for you. The National Alliance on Mental Illness is a good starting place if you're struggling.
